This Hasami-ware earthenware utensil was created in collaboration with the cooking gear brand hime from Aizome Kiln (Hasami-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture). When heated, the roasting pan radiates far-infrared rays, making food fluffy and juicy. It also retains heat far better than a teppan, so food can be served hot for a while. Since it can be kept clean with detergent or in the dishwasher, it can also be used as a coaster or pot stand. The roasting stovetop improves the quality of food and increases the repertoire of dishes, offering an unprecedented level of outdoor cooking.
